The term “world literature” was first used by the German writer and statesman Johann Wolfgang von Goethe, referring to the dissemination of literature from and to countries across the globe.  World Literature, in the modern sense, refers to literary works that are translated into multiple languages and circulated to an audience outside their country of origin.

This literature course explores how great  20^th Century  writers refract their world and how their works are transformed when they intervene in our global cultural landscape today.

Trabajó como  docente del  Departamento de Lenguas Modernas de la Facultad  de Filosofía y Letras (UBA). Actualmente es docente de Literatura Inglesa  y Castellana en la Carrera de Traductorado Literario  de la Universidad del Museo Social Argentino (UMSA)  y  docente de Teoría Literaria  en Licenciatura en Lengua Inglesa de la Universidad de San Martín (UNSAM). Diploma examinadora de Literatura Mundial del Bachillerato Internacional.
